This online workshop will provide EAA students with an introduction to the craft of academic writing and some strategies for conducting research in the Humanities. Topics will include: managing the research process; the critical essay; argumentative writing; ways of using research; patterns of academic argument; working with sources; and tools for research. If you’ve wondered about strategies for writing academic essays, or what, exactly, a “research paper” entails, or wish to become better acquainted with the research process and strategies of academic argument — this workshop is for you.
